We Offer Three Levels of Services Level 1 Service: On-Site service with no travelling charges. Mail-In service with free return shipping for 25 or more pipettes. PCR, Inc. Will abide by any and all safety requirements of your company. PCR, Inc. Guarantees that all calls to the toll free number will be returned with 24 hours. Certificate of accuracy with 6-month warranty on parts and labor. Preventive Maintenance and Accuracy Verification for non-GMP/GLP Applications: 1. Complete Inspection, Disassembly, Cleaning, Polishing and Lubrication of Instruments. 2. Replacement of Seal and O-ring (if applicable). 3. Pipettes are calibrated using full range gravimetric analysis by weighing distilled and de-ionized water. 4. Instruments are calibrated to PCR, Inc's stringent tolerances, or as specified by the client. 5. Accuracy verification shall consist of 3 readings at 3 different volumes that cover the operating range. 6. Calibration stickers affixed to pipets with date of service, service technician's initials and next due date. 7. All measuring and test equipment used for calibration is N.I.S.T. Traceable. 8. Copies of N.I.S.T. Certificates are attached to the certificate of accuracy. Level 2 Service: All of Level 1 service Plus our service is tailored to meet the labs specifications in regard to tolerance limits and frequency of calibration. Preventive Maintenance and Accuracy Verification for cGMP/cGLP Applications: 1. Complete Inspection, Disassembly, Cleaning, Polishing and Lubrication of Instruments. 2. Replacement of Seal and O-ring (if applicable). 3. Pipettes are calibrated using full range gravimetric analysis by weighing distilled and de-ionized water. The weight is then converted to volume based on the environmental conditions using PCR, Inc.s calibration software before calculating the mean, standard deviation, inaccuracy and imprecision. 4. Instruments are calibrated to PCR, Inc's stringent tolerances, or as specified by the client. Calibration document consists of 5 readings at 3 different volumes that cover the operating range of the instrument. The readings are downloaded to a laptop via serial interface. 5. Calibration documentation is generated using PCR, Inc.'s calibration software, which calculates the mean, standard deviation, inaccuracy and imprecision taking into consideration the environmental conditions under which the pipet was calibrated. 6. Calibration stickers affixed to pipets with date of service, service technician's initials and next due date. 7. All measuring and test equipment used for calibration is N.I.S.T. Traceable. 8. Copies of N.I.S.T. Certificates are attached to the calibration documentation. Level 3 Service: All of Level 2 service plus Pre-Calibration and Post-Calibration documentation with 6 month warranty on parts and labor. Preventive Maintenance and Accuracy Verification for cGMP/cGLP Applications: 1. Pre-Calibration documentation is generated with 3 readings at 3 different volumes. The readings are downloaded to the laptop via serial interface prior to performing any preventive maintenance to the pipets. This information is useful and required by cGMP/cGLP labs that need to know the status of an instrument before calibration. 2. Complete Inspection, Disassembly, Cleaning, Polishing and Lubrication of Instruments. 3. Replacement of Seal and O-ring (if applicable). 4. Pipettes are calibrated using full range gravimetric analysis by weighing distilled and de-ionized water. The weight is then converted to volume based on the environmental conditions using PCR, Inc.s calibration software before calculating the mean, standard deviation, inaccuracy and imprecision. 5. Instruments are calibrated to PCR, Inc's stringent tolerances, or as specified by the client. Post-Calibration document consists of 5 readings at 3 different volumes that cover the operating range of the instrument. The readings are downloaded to a laptop via serial interface. 6. Pre-Calibration and Post-Calibration documentation is generated using PCR, Inc.'s calibration software, which calculates the mean, standard deviation, inaccuracy and imprecision taking into consideration the environmental conditions under which the pipet was calibrated. 7. Calibration stickers affixed to pipets with date of service, service technician's initials and next due date. 8. All measuring and test equipment used for calibration is N.I.S.T. Traceable. 9. Copies of N.I.S.T. Certificates are attached to the calibration documentation.
